PICO INTERACTIVE REVEALS ENTERPRISE-FOCUSED 4K VERSION OF CHINA’S BEST-SELLING ALL-IN-ONE VR HEADSET AT CES 2019
Pico Interactive, Inc. continues to take the enterprise VR and AR market head on in 2019 with the newly unveiled all-in-one Pico G2 4K VR headset – a highly anticipated 4K update to the Pico G2, China’s bestselling standalone VR headset. Pico will showcase its entire VR and camera hardware lineup, including the Pico G2 4K and the PicoZense 3D high-precision Time-of-Flight (TOF) depth-sensing camera at CES 2019, Jan. 8 through Jan. 11 in booth number 21621.
The Pico G2 4K takes the G2’s focus on high-performance, sleek design and maximum comfort and enhances the resolution to a crisp 4K for a top-of-the-line experience with a streamlined all-in-one counterweighted design. Several companies in the medical, shipping and transportation industries are using Pico’s VR and AR hardware in enterprise settings including VRtuoso, OperaVR, Limbix, In-Flight VR, Vivid Vision, NuEyes, and VRCoaster. FlixBus, Europe’s largest long-distance mobility company which recently expanded to the US, also announced that it is now using Pico’s VR headsets to power the launch of the world’s first virtual reality pilot program on long-distance buses. Recently, Pico has cooperated with several telecommunication operators, including CMCC (China Mobile Communications Group Co.,Ltd.), to pilot the "Cloud VR" scheme, where users are able to watch 4K and 8K panoramic videos and movies at home, as well as play interactive cloud games. Pico also worked in conjunction with KT (Korea Telecom), to launch a private VR entertainment service, GiGA Live TV. Pico currently has over 700 clients globally in education, health care, commercial display, telecom operation, location-based entertainment areas.
