Attention Cat fans: You will love the Hololens Hello Kitty Collaboration.

Yesterday Sanrio launched Hello Kitty on Actiongram, the HoloLens video creation app. Created by Vine animator Alicia Herber; you can see some examples of the 14 animations included in the Hello Kitty pack in the above video. 

Though AR and the Hololens are still very niche and used more as a development tool than for consumer use Sanrio is looking to be ahead of the curve. 

"Sanrio is always looking for the newest trends and collaborations, including augmented reality," says Egita Di Filippo, a member of Sanrio's digital team. "Mixed reality storytelling is an interesting new medium for expressing creativity which allows the many Hello Kitty fans to engage with and experience her in an entirely new way."

The Hello Kitty video is just one of several that has been created from a collaboration with Microsoft and several social media video influencers.
