Netflix releases Stranger Things VR/360° video!
In a recent Venture Beat article Netflix CEO Reed Hastings said they are not looking to go all in with VR since it is hard to binge watch content in VR. He was quoted as saying VR will have a"big impact" on gaming, but that when it comes to watching content, the medium is too involving. "You’re exhausted after 20 minutes,"
Well that does not look to stop the company from trying out the potential of it. Today Netflix released a 360° video for their sleeper hit Stranger Things, a show rejected by multiply networks before Netflix grabbed it and one of the biggest hits of the summer.
The company also currently has an app for GearVR.
