Immersive entertainment company The VOID, today announced it has appointed Cliff Plumer as CEO.
The VOID, the critically acclaimed immersive entertainment company, today announced it has appointed Cliff Plumer as chief executive officer. With more than 30 years of experience spanning production, creative and technology, Plumer will lead the company effective today. He succeeds co-founder Ken Bretschneider who has transitioned to the role of committee chair of THE VOID Visions team and will continue to sit on the board of directors.
Plumer joins THE VOID from premiere virtual reality media company, Jaunt, where he served as president of Santa Monica-based Jaunt Studios. During his time at Jaunt, Plumer grew the creative team and worked with partners and brands on the development and production of VR content. Prior to Jaunt, he served as CEO of visual effects studio, Digital Domain and CTO of Lucasfilm and Industrial Light & Magic where he worked closely with founder and filmmaker George Lucas in the development of new computer graphic technology and a digital cinema production and distribution system for the Star Wars trilogy.
